Nautilus aan Zee is a sustainable pavilion that was newly built in 2019 on the beach at Egmond aan Zee. The owners had the ambition to make this special pavilion the most sustainable beach pavilion in the Netherlands. The new pavilion even consists of 2 floors and is an asset to the Egmond beach. This beach pavilion is open 12 months a year and is located on the spot where the once beloved beach pavilion De Schelp stood.
Leegwater treated the thermally modified façade timber, and also supplied the vintage western red cedar that has been used as the ceiling.
