ColorSeen shows Leegwater at its best, because ColorSeen products represent the best possible value, unprecedented possibilities, and are extremely environmentally sound. The ColorSeen products developed in-house by Leegwater offer you a series of high-quality, water-based varnishes, developed with love for wood and respect for nature.
Spruce, oak, ash, birch, walnut, etc. Each wood species can be identified by its unique colour and grain. Timberstain can highlight or even create these characteristics. It can also extend wood’s lifespan, especially when combined with preservation, drying and processing. And the great thing is that even after all this processing, the total costs are still lower than using real hardwood. Timberstain is available in every imaginable transparent and opaque colour. All are water-based, moisture-regulating, and colourfast for many years. In consultation with Leegwater’s colour laboratory, any transparent or opaque colour you want can be mixed. Leegwater will gladly supply samples of the results on your preferred wood species.
TimberStain HT is a ready-made water-repellent and vapour-permeable stain that provides beautiful, long-lasting, and durable protection. The pigments are resistant to discolouration, and ensure beautiful, long-lasting hues. The thin, water emulsifiable protective stain has a controlled weathering action, easy for re-treatment. ColorSeen TimberStain HT contains additives that help protect against fungal and algae attacks. It provides subtle colour accents, while leaving the natural structure of the wood visible. The product is ideal for thermally modified wood, and horizontal surfaces such as hardwood decking. It can also be applied to wall cladding, roof overhangs, sheds, beams, pergolas, garden fencing, garden furniture, etc.
Scaffolding stain is a ready-made water-repellent and vapour-permeable stain that gives wood an authentic, weathered look in just one layer. This very thin, emulsifiable, protective stain weathers in a controlled way, so the wood surface greys evenly and naturally. The product turns wood a subtle shade of grey, but leaves the natural structure of the wood visible.
Acrylic Stain is an acrylic-based, ready-to-use stain that gives beautiful, long-lasting and durable protection. The pigments are resistant to discolouration, and ensure a beautiful, long-lasting colour. This emulsifiable protective stain weathers in a controlled way, so repeating the treatment is easy. Semi-transparent Acrylic Stain gives wood a subtle tint, but leaves the natural structure of the wood visible. Opaque Acrylic Stain covers unevenness in the wood, without hiding its natural structure.
Dipping, spraying, brushing, rolling etc. ColorSeen can be applied to wood to colour and protect it in a number of simple ways. The product only requires minimal preparation for it to bind with wood at a cellular level. State-of-the-art, computer-controlled spray lines are used for the finishing touch. Any desired coating system can be used: transparent or opaque, in any colour.
Leegwater will gladly advise you on the application options, advantages and prices of its various coating systems and the spray line.
